Lightbox is so excited to help capture your special day during graduation. We are offering personal photography sessions all throughout graduation week, where locations around town are used as the perfect backdrop. + How do I know my session doesn't clash with my ceremony?

Morning ceremonies are at 10:30am, and afternoon ceremonies are at 2pm. The ceremonies take up to 1 hour 30 minutes, but please also allow an extra 30 minutes for the procession that follows.
You can pick up your gown from 8:30am onwards and everyone needs to return their gowns by 6pm.

+ Where do we meet and where can we go?

We will meet next to the PH outside St Salvator's Quad. We will take photos wherever you would like during a full hour session, and all town centre locations except the pier will be available to the 30 minute sessions. This maximises the amount of time spent capturing as opposed to travelling, and we believe this is essential in the shorter time frame in order for us to provide you with the best possible service.
Our photographers will also have a list of their favourite locations that you can choose from.

+ Do you offer prints and how many do I receive?

We offer a completely digital service where you will receive the full resolution digital files via a download link within a week after your ceremony. The final number depends on how many we take on the day! We will give you every good photograph and we don't have a photo limit.

+ How much does a session cost?

Sessions cost £45 per 30 minutes, and £80 per full hour. The full hour session's purpose is to provide a relaxed experience, allowing visits to more locations, including the pier.

+ How do I pay you?

We only accept electronic payments made through the booking portal. You will be invited to pay in order to confirm your slot.

+ How do I know my booking is confirmed?

Once your payment has gone through, you will receive an email confirming all the details of your booking.
You will also receive an email reminder 24 hours before your session.

+ I can't make my session anymore. Can I get my money back?

You may reschedule or cancel your booking for a full refund up to 1 week before your session. We are unable to issue refunds or allow rescheduling after this time, but you are able to let someone take your place up to 24 hours before your session.

+ Can I request a certain photographer?

Yes, you can select which photographer you would like to book through the booking portal. While we cannot guarantee that the photographer will be free, we will try our best to accommodate.

+ I have a lot of family, will I need more than 30 minutes?

We usually manage to get all the photographs you need within the 30 minutes. However, we recommend that you book a full hour if you want to take the session at a more relaxed pace and fit in more locations.

+ When do bookings close?

Bookings close on Sunday 24th June at midnight.
